Huawei does not care about US sanctions, increased revenue

Revenue from Chinese telecommunications company Huawei Technologies increased 24.4 percent in the first three quarters of 2019 to 610.8 billion yuan ($ 86 billion).
Huawei shipped more than 185 million smartphones over the same period, up 26 percent from the same period last year, according to a US-blacklisted company, Reuters reports.
The Chinese company said in August that while the effect of US trade restrictions would be less than originally anticipated, its smartphone production division could decline by nearly $ 10 billion this year.
Huawei is the world's largest manufacturer of telecommunications network equipment and the second largest smartphone manufacturer.
System Sales
Huawei CEO Ren Zhengfei suggested selling Chinese companies' 5G systems to Western companies last month to address concerns from the US and other countries about Huawei technology.
Ren said the buyer would have the freedom to "change the software as well."
This would allow any flaws or hidden options to be resolved without Huawei interference, Ren said in an interview with the Economist and the New York Times.
Huawei has consistently rejected claims that their 5G technology would allow the Chinese government to spy on or disrupt other countries' telecommunications systems.
